As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and charged your credit card for the purchase. If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will reach out to you via e-mail. Any free shipping offers only apply to the lower 48 US states, call for details. Orders shipping outside the lower 48 US states are available for purchase upon request and at the expense of the customer – any duty and import taxes are paid by the customer. Valley Food Storage reserves the right to choose the most economical method of shipment. Should a customer request a different method of delivery, the customer would be held responsible for the shipping cost.
If your order is in stock it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provide when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Backorders: If you order items labeled as currently backordered, we will ship the items out as soon as the product becomes available.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please contact customer care at email@example.com, or visit our Return/Exchange portal to request a replacement.
Cancellations & Refunds
If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
Most of of our shipments are too large to fit inside PO boxes. This can cause delays in your shipment or your package to be returned to us. We are not responsible for additional shipping costs associated with returned packages. Please check with your PO box provider before using this as a shipping address for your order.
Please be aware that once the package leaves the warehouse, it is the responsibility of the carrier to make sure you receive your package. If your address was provided incorrectly or the carrier is unable to contact you via the provided phone number with questions, your package may be returned to us. We are not responsible for additional shipping costs associated with returned packages.
Some orders are too large to be shipped with a regular carrier. These orders have to be delivered on a pallet by a private trucking company. This shipping method is reserved for only orders that require it. All other orders will offer available shipping options during checkout.
Valley Food Storage offers our clients a 30 day return policy. If you are within 30 days of purchase, visit our Return/Exchange portal to submit a request for a return. Once submitted, requests will be processed for approval within 1-2 business days. You will receive an email notification of the decision, along with instructions for how to complete your return, if approved.
We will process a return and refund the cost of unused food, if the food is returned in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To be eligible for a return, your unused and unopened items must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from returns, such as Gift Cards.
Returns will be processed within 1-2 business days of receipt. You will receive an email confirmation that the item(s) has been received, and that a refund has been issued. Please allow 3-5 business days for bank processing time.
Final Sale and Clearance items cannot be refunded.
We will replace any damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items within 30 days of purchase free of charge. If you believe that you have received a damaged/defective item, are missing an item from your order, or have received an incorrect item, please visit our Return/Exchange portal to submit a request for a replacement. Once submitted, requests will be processed for approval within 1-2 business days. You will receive an email notification of the decision, along with instructions for how to complete your exchange, if approved.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a e-gift card will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, the purchaser will need to initiate the return.
Except in the case of exchanges for incorrect items only, you will be responsible for paying for return shipping costs. Damaged or defective items are not required to be returned to us. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We also reserve the right to apply a 20% restocking fee for large orders. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item valued over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
Late or Missing Refunds
