We use the best all natural ingredients, with the necessary vitamins and nutrients to not only allow you to survive, but to thrive! We create meals that allow people with dietary restrictions to store fantastic tasting meals that align with their needs. Our recipes allow for a healthy alternative to other one-size-fits-all food storage options.

Our top priority is making sure that you have options for high quality food storage, and that each choice will taste amazing.

Policies

We’d be happy to send a free sample for your household - Give us a call at 330-594-8070 and one of our team members will be able to take care of all of your questions, and get some food over to you!

If you buy the sample pack it qualifies for our empty bag guarantee - if you buy our sampler pack and don’t like the food, we’ll buy it back from you, even if the bag is empty!

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and charged your credit card for the sale. If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will reach out to you via e-mail.

If your order has shipped and you need to cancel your order, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order. Please see https://valleyfoodstorage.com/refund-policy/ for full Refund Policy.

Any free shipping offers only apply to the lower 48 US states, call for details. Packages are shipped Monday through Friday. We are occasionally closed on holidays, but will have away messages assigned when our offices and warehouse are closed.

Customers outside the lower 48 US states are able to purchase but are responsible for any duty and import taxes that may apply.

Valley Food Storage reserves the right to choose the most economical method of shipping, from traditional to freight.

If your order is in stock it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provide when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at info@valleyfoodstorage.com

1. Backorders: If you order items are labeled as currently backordered, we will ship the items out as soon as the product becomes available.

Unfortunately it is impossible for us to know what PO Boxes will accept or hold potentially large packages. If a package is undeliverable and returned to us, we will contact you to request alternative shipping options and to invoice you for reshipment costs (within reason).

If a package is marked as delivered but you don’t have it, please contact the USPS, FedEx or the corresponding freight forwarder to inquire about the package. We are unable to take responsibility for packages lost or stolen after delivery.

While we make every attempt to allow for multiple shipping options, the contents of your order will sometimes dictate shipping methods required.

Single packs of food will generally be sent via our partnership with DHL and the USPS. DHL will pick up the package and deliver to the nearest hub to your town and hand the package off to the United States Postal Service, who will make the final delivery. Though DHL/USPS is the typical handler for smaller orders, you can choose USPS Priority or FedEx for a faster shipment.

Any order including a bucket will automatically ship FedEx, unless the order is large enough that it has to ship on a pallet. If an order must be palletized, we will work to coordinate and connect you and our freight forwarder so your delivery can be made at a safe and convenient time for you.

Tracking is usually emailed within minutes of the label being printed. Please note while the tracking number may have been generated, the number will likely show an error until the carrier (DHL, USPS, FedEx, etc…) picks up and scans the package - even then, they sometimes take longer to activate. Please allow for one business day for tracking numbers to activate.

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@valleyfoodstorage.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

We offer a 30 day return policy. If you are within 30 days of purchase, send us an email at info@valleyfoodstorage.com. Once approved, send your item to: Valley Food Returns 5153 Stoneham Rd, North Canton, OH 44720 USA.

Food items

We will process a return and refund the cost of unused and unopened food, if the food is returned in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-food items

To be eligible for a return, your unused and unopened items must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from returns, such as Gift Cards.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once we receive and inspect your return we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Once processed, please allow 3-5 business days for bank processing time of your refund.

Final Sale items (if applicable)

Final Sale and Clearance items cannot be refunded or returned.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please email us at info@valleyfoodstorage.com and with a photo and description of the damage.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, an e-gift card will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, the purchaser will need to initiate the return.

To return your product, you should address the package to: Valley Food Returns; 5153 Stoneham Rd North Canton, OH 44720. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We also reserve the right to apply a 20% restocking fee for large orders. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item valued over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check with your bank or credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is posted, typically 3-5 business days. If you’ve taken these steps, please contact us at info@valleyfoodstorage.com.

Subscriptions, Payment, Financing & Discounts

We happily accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover and PayPal - for your security we require all credit card transactions to  be processed online, and are unable to accept credit cards over the phone. We can also accept incoming wire transfers - please reach out to tyler@valleyfoodstorage.com to discuss your order.

If your payment is declined, please reach out to your bank. To ensure the security of your information, we are unable to share any information about declined transactions over the phone.

Shelf Life and Manufacturing Dates

Valley Food Storage food is processed and packed to last for 25 years. When stored properly, your freeze dried food should be ready anytime you need it. All of our products have a guaranteed shelf life of 25 years unless our packaging is opened, damaged or tampered with.

Best practices for long term storage of your Valley Food order is to keep it out of direct sunlight, in a room temperature stable environment, preferably in one of our premium food-grade storage buckets.


For short term storage, ie camping trips, day to day cooking and go-bags, the same rules apply but you can keep in a pantry, a go-bag or with the rest of your camping food.

All our products are enclosed in resealable mylar bags and include an FDA approved 100cc oxygen absorber. The oxygen absorber holds any remaining oxygen in the bag, and will continue to work when resealed after use. https://valleyfoodstorage.com/blogs/inside-vfs/inside-vfs-003

In using Mylar bags, we offer a lightweight, durable and shelf-stable packaging. Compared to canned food which can leach into your food over time, Mylar does not have this effect over time.

Our buckets allow for protection against exposure to water, protects the bags from damage, and are easy to grab and go as needed.

Nutrition Information

The claim “All-Natural” is regulated by the USDA and ensures that the color of the food not be enhanced and that the preservation method be one that does not alter the chemical components of the product such as freeze-drying.
