Valley Food Storage has been made aware of a recall from the FDA that has effected our supplier of Freeze Dried Chicken Dices. While this is a voluntary recall for freeze-dried food, we believe transparency with our customers is most important. You can find more information on the recall here.
You are receiving this email because you have either purchased our Freeze Dried Chicken Dices, or purchased a kit that may contain Freeze Dried Chicken Dices that have potentially fallen within the recall period.
Please note: The recall ONLY effects Freeze Dried Chicken Dices, and does not effect other entrees with chicken like Chicken a la King or Chicken Teriyaki.
If you have purchased Freeze Dried Chicken Dices or a kit that contains them and wish to participate in the voluntary recall, please fill out the form at the end of this email before November 9th, 2019. After November 9th, 2019, we will contact you via email regarding the eligibility and options of your exchange.
In order to be eligible for an exchange, you must be able to prove your bag(s) of Freeze Dried Chicken Dices are sealed and intact. You can do so by uploading a picture of your clearly labeled and sealed bags to the form at the end of this email.
If you do not wish to participate in this voluntary recall, we suggest making sure your chicken dices are reconstituted at a temperature exceeding 165 degrees.
Unfortunately, our Customer Service Team will not be able to answer any additional questions or concerns at this time, but we will keep you as up-to-date as possible with any changes.
At Valley Food Storage, we pride ourselves on quality, and will continue to hold our suppliers to the highest standards possible.
We will be making every effort to continue to closely monitor ALL of our suppliers. After all, this is the same freeze dried food we serve our own families.
