Shipping Updates During Heightened Threat Of The Coronavirus

Currently we are shipping orders in 6-8 weeks. Partial orders may be shipped in some cases, depending on product availability.

Tuesday May 5th Update:

We continue to ship hundreds of orders per day from our warehouse. In the past week we have added a 3rd shift to our warehouse operation and now are working 24 hours a day assembling orders. We expect to be able to reduce our shipping delay estimate by June!

Monday, April 13th Update:

Our team took the holiday weekend off to be with our families and we hope that you were able to do the same. We continue to receive several semis of food weekly from our co-packers and we hundreds of customer orders are being shipped back out daily. Our two shift operation is running smooth and we will be adding a 3rd shift shortly.

If you are still considering placing an order please watch the video below with our latest update:

Monday, March 30th Update:

To ensure the health and safety of our employees and our customers we have a few important updates:

  1. Our office staff has been working fully remote for the past two weeks. Please be patient with customer service response times. They are currently working 8:30am-5pm EST M-F. Please EMAIL in any inquiries and please do not email more than once on the same request. Response times are currently 1-2 business days.
  2. The State of Ohio has issued a "Stay At Home" Order.  As a critical and essential business our warehouse continues to receive inventory and ship orders daily. We are taking extra precautions in the warehouse by working multiple shifts with less staff per shift to encourage social distancing and performing extra cleaning and sanitization in the facility.
  3. We are seeing shipping times from major carriers slow. Please be patient with deliveries once you receive your shipping confirmation notice.

Friday, March 13th Update:

Today, we received the largest shipment of food in Valley Food Storage history. 8 hours later, we shipped out the largest amount of food in Valley Food Storage history. We have more than doubled our warehouse crew and doubled the amount of time in the warehouse to make sure we can get everyone the food you need to keep you and your family safe. We deeply thank you for your patience, and hope this video shows we are doing absolutely everything we can to get your food out in a timely manner.

Thursday, March 5th Update:

As we have mentioned, we have been shipping partial orders over the past week. Watch the video above to learn what this means, and what you can expect over the next few weeks as we continue to fulfill your order on a first-come first-serve basis.

Saturday, February 29th Update:

In an effort to get current orders out the door and anticipate future demand, thousands of buckets and tens of thousands of food items are arriving on a regular basis. The second they arrive, they are repacked and shipped directly back to those who ordered on a first-come first-serve basis.

We have begun shipping partial orders to make sure everyone begins getting the food they need during these uncertain times. Please know that if you receive a partial order, the remainder of your order will be shipped to you separately at no expense to you when the rest of the items become available.

Please keep in mind it may take up to 4-6 weeks for orders to be fully completed during this industry-wide shortage. We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented demand, and promise that we will fulfill 100% of the orders placed with Valley Food Storage as quickly as possible.

Wednesday, February 26th Update:

Unfortunately, news reports indicate that the global threat of the Coronavirus is now reaching the United States. Because of the increased threat, demand for Valley Food Storage has dramatically increased.
We appreciate your patience and are committed to making sure everyone has the opportunity to receive their food on a first-come, first-serve basis in a timely manner. You can watch this short video for more details.
